課程概述	發源於1930年代德國法蘭克福社會研究所的「法蘭克福學派」，是新馬克思主義的一支，也是一內涵豐富深刻的思想承傳，構成了20世紀以來所謂「批判理論」的主要理論內容，對當代思想影響非常深遠。本課程將透過研讀研究文獻(為主)與原典，對此一思想傳統進行初步探討與了解。當前對法蘭克福學派的理解，多半以第二代的Habermas為主，但是本學期將集中研究探討學派第一代的理論。
課程目標	1.透過文獻研讀，讓同學瞭解掌握法蘭克福學派/批判理論的基本概念、語彙與方法。2.同時進行對法理學相關議題的思考討論。
課程要求	修課條件：應具英文閱讀基礎；懂德文更佳。成績考核：學期中要提出口頭及書面報告，並應擔任至少一次評論。期末繳交期末報告。不得缺席超過一次。詳細上課說明。
